As a trusted local bus service with a rich history in the region, CDC Canberra has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the transport industry. Following acquisition by CDC in 2012, Qcity Transit (formerly, Deanes Bus Lines) and Transborder Express began operating under the CDC brand in January 2023, with the famous blue and orange livery now dominating the Greater Canberra public transport landscape.
Operating across the Australian Capital Territory and Southern New South Wales, CDC Canberra provides essential bus services for millions of passengers each year. We operate a fleet of more than 160 vehicles out of three depots, providing route and school services. We strive to be an Employer of Choice, with more than 250 employees in both operational and administrative roles.
As one of the largest local bus operators in the Greater Canberra region, CDC Canberra also provides reliable and competitive charter services for schools, charities, sporting and recreational groups, as well as a transport partner in major events and festivals. We are proud to operate long-distance coach services under contract between Canberra and the south coast of New South Wales, connecting people to places and local communities.
As the key provider of bus services to millions of passengers each year in the ACT, we utilize our local knowledge, combined with the national and global expertise of our affiliates, to benefit local communities through a focus on innovation, exceptional customer service, safe and reliable transportation, and excellence in bus operations.
